Refund Policy

ExpertStackHub's core expert discovery, AI matching, and intelligence tools are available at no charge. This Refund Policy applies to paid features including premium expert listings and any platform subscription tiers we offer.

ExpertStackHub does not process payments between businesses and experts — those transactions happen directly between the parties. Payment and refund disputes related to expert engagements are governed by the direct agreement between the business and expert.

Free Platform Features

The following features are free and require no payment:

No refund is needed for free features — there is no charge to reverse.

Premium Expert Listings

Experts may optionally pay for premium listing features including enhanced visibility, priority placement, and featured status in relevant categories.

Eligible for Refund

7-Day No-Use Window

If you purchase a premium listing and have not activated or used the premium features, you may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase. To qualify, your premium placement must not yet have been displayed or activated.

Not Eligible for Refund

After Activation

Once your premium listing has been activated and displayed to users — even for a single day — the fee is non-refundable. Premium placement begins delivering value from the moment it is live.

Subscription-Based Premium Listings

For recurring monthly or annual premium listing subscriptions:

Platform Failure Exception

If your premium listing was not displayed to users for a material portion of your paid period due to a technical failure on our part, you are entitled to a prorated credit or refund for the affected period. Contact us with your account details and we will review the issue within 5 business days.

Listing Removal for Policy Violation

If your expert profile is removed or suspended due to a violation of our Terms of Service — including inaccurate credentials, misleading information, or prohibited conduct — no refund will be issued for premium listing fees paid. Refund eligibility does not apply to accounts terminated for cause.

Marketplace Transactions

ExpertStackHub facilitates connections between businesses and expert professionals but is not a party to any engagement, contract, or payment between them. This means:

If a marketplace dispute involves a pattern of behavior that violates our Terms of Service, contact us and we will review the situation for potential platform-level action. We cannot, however, act as a financial intermediary or issue chargebacks on behalf of either party.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund for a premium listing purchase:

Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback with your card issuer for a charge from ExpertStackHub, we reserve the right to suspend your account pending resolution. We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback — most issues can be resolved faster through our support process than through a card dispute.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The current version will always be available at expertstackhub.ai/refund-policy. Changes will not apply retroactively to purchases made before the effective date of the update.
